Your child needs a cozy place to sleep which is just the right size in order to feel safe. UNDERLIG junior mattress fits perfectly in our junior beds and gives your child a cozy sleep in their first “big bed”.

Product details

The outer cover is easy to remove and is machine washable at 60°C.

Your child can choose the comfort they prefer since the polyurethane foam has two different surfaces. The egg-shaped pattern has a medium-firm comfort, and the smooth side has a firmer comfort.

Child-safe zipper prevents children from opening the cover.

Safety and compliance

The zipper is child-safe since we took away the tab on the zip. To open and close, insert a paper clip through the loop. Make sure you always remove the paper clip afterwards.

It's not very thick orAnonymous reviewerIt's not very thick or dense. That said, we knew the size/depth before buying but because it is for an Ikea bed we had no other option because of the bed size. The mattress looks nice but on the bed, it is fairly thin. My child is quite small so she doesn't dip and misshape the mattress like an adult would. She sleeps well in it and has no complaints. From the packaging it is very smelly at first, then the smell does fade after about a week.3

Material

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

Quality

Soft and pleasant with good support

This 10 cm thick mattress has two different surfaces ‒ one egg-shaped side with medium-firm comfort and one smooth side which is firmer. The texture of the foam makes the mattress soft and well-ventilated, which provides good support and a comfortable sleeping environment for your child. The cover can be removed and machine washed at 60°C.
