The best way to extend the life of your parasol is by cleaning it regularly, protecting it with a cover whenever not in use and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over.

parasol is great, we've already ditched the ugly sandbagsAnonymous reviewerthe parasol is great value, the base and sandbags however are not so great. the bags are empty so you fill with your own sand, but once filled they look really ugly on the patio and I'm sure will end up mouldy underneath eventually. We already ditched them and built a movable planter around the metal base, filled it with the sand and put that on wheels, now we can move the parasol to wherever it's needed and it looks more gardeny
