Disappointed - does not workAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 of these lamps. Pleased with the style and finish. Wasn’t aware that charging cable was not included, but have my own.
Assembled the first lamp with fully charged batteries to find it only works when the charging cable is connected to a power source.
I’m not even going to waste my time assembling the second lamp. I will be returning both.
Very disappointed as this is the first time I have had to return an Ikea product.
Bitterly regret not reading the reviews before I ordered.

Bought the rechargeable batteries and the battery charger too, obviously had to open the battery packaging and after all that, lamp does not work, neither with the batteries (fully charged) nor with the USB-C cable. Bought in cash and don't have the receipt as didn't expect IKEA sold products to be defective. Will try to return and get a refund. Do not waste your money.

Also you use either cable or batteries to keep the lamp on. So it’s not really portable. The golden color fits my room and it’s very elegant. But is it worth to buy?

Lovely lamp, but doesn’t workAnonymous reviewerI bought one of these for my daughter’s desk, alongside the recommended batteries and the charging cable. The batteries are supposed to be ready to use, but upon inserting into the lamp, the lamp doesn’t work. We’ve now been using the charging cable for almost two days straight, and the lamp still doesn’t work. Unfortunately, Ikea is a 90min drive away, so I won’t be making a 3hr round trip especially, and will need to return at a later date. Disappointed as the design is otherwise lovely and reminiscent of the bluebells we love in our garden.

It didn't work after charging and then randomly switched on later... . Such a shame - I wish it was a proper plug in Lamp with a proper bulb that could be replaced - this one is single use as well. Very disappointed.

Looks and feels expensive! Anonymous reviewerI have bought two different types of rechargeable lamps from Ikea as a temporary solution to jarring lighting in a hotel room I have a prolonged stay in. I bought this and the NÖDMAST rechargeable bedside lamp. This lamp is made of glass and metal, it looks and feels expensive and is much heavier than I would have considered. This adds to the amazing affordability of a product that looks very classy in any space. I am mighty impressed by this little lamp. FYI, if you're buying this without access to tools, I did struggle to get the philips screw out of the bottom to put the batteries in. Luckily the hotel reception had a screwdriver available to get the bottom off. Nevertheless, I am so glad I went for these lamps rather than order any off of Amazon. I used the Ikea click and collect service so had not seen the lamps before assembly. Suffice to say, I love both of them so much I felt compelled to write reviews. My camping kit, just stepped up a notch in the glamping stakes next year!
Bulb not replaceableAnonymous reviewerMy wife bought these. I can't see anything about replacing the terrible little plastic bulb. The lamp itself is great But surely not being able to replace the bulb makes these items future landfill? Every single one will need binning once the little bulb goes. That's shocking!

It would have been helpful if it had shown a picture of the USB cable as well with the item number then I would have ordered one!!!! As I had the item delivered I'm not going to pay for delivery for such a small item.

Worth consideringAnonymous reviewerI’m trying to minimize cords so opted for a couple of these lamps. I would like more choice of styles but having left off the ‘handle’ this lamp looks more minimalist. It is portable and easily recharged with the correct cable also purchased from IKEA.

Lovely little light.Anonymous reviewerIt brings light to a small table on my upstairs landing where I have no power outlet. Alongside a faux fern and a vase I picked up in ikea Market Place it looks like it's always been there. With occasional use it's been there a few weeks and I'm yet to need to recharge it. I only turn on for low light when the kids are c in bed and I need to potter about.
I'm sure it'll have much more use as the nights get longer.
