ok until it isn't Anonymous reviewerUnfortunately the trays fall through the mid section as sides have become bowed somehow. Tried to speak to customer services but as 1 year guarantee they wont help me. This needs a bracket or something to hold it together in the mid section.

Not as sturdy as expectedAnonymous reviewerDue to the height of this unit it's not as sturdy as the other Trofast units unless attached to the wall as per the instructions, there is a definite 'sway'. The quality is also not what it used to be and our unit had considerable damage, both caused by the delivery driver (chipped corners and the side panel cracked in two) and during manufacture (more chipped corners, veneer not applied correctly).
This unit is large but considering it is only four sides and some plastic runners, and not well made, it's overpriced now.
Useful storage but unless you specifically need the higher unit like we did I recommend you get the smaller, cheaper version or the sturdier step shaped one.
I have used a fewAnonymous reviewerI have used a few throughout the house , and have found them both stable , and very flexible in the different combinations of boxes that can be used. A thoughtful addition is you get the max amount of runners required if using only the small boxes.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
