Being an ikea product, and for the price, i expected longer life and not around 1 year!!

Replacement Anonymous reviewerThis is a second door as after 7 months the first door started rusting.
The metal strips holding the mirror rust. The mirror will get condensation when the shower is used. Even though the cabinet is dried, after 7 months the paint started to fall off and then went rusty. IKEA replaced the door but the strip is still made of metal so I will wait and see what happens in a few months.

Even when connected to mains power, it has no on/off switch, which is inconvenient and poorly designed. This was not clearly stated in the product description. Feels misleading. Would not recommend if you're expecting proper control over the light.

We bought in the shop so were unaware that the cabinet needed to be wired from the ceiling light and not as we tried to do through the wall to a general power supply. Frustrating. Works But?Anonymous reviewerArrived with broken mirror, quickly replaced by Ikea. Installed but no light switch so light was permanently on. On phoning Ikea said that the light should be wired through the room light and then would turn on and off with the room light. Now need to wire in a switch! Don't always want to light cabinet and room at the same time.
