It cannot possibly be returned because items need to be unopened and in the original packaging for this and you cannot check if it’s working without opening the packaging so they can just sell you non-functional items without recourse to a refund or return.1

Writes well, just doesn't wipe off cleanly.Anonymous reviewerAs with several others, I found the pen is great for writing on my Svensas chalkboard, but wiping it off leaves a 'shadow' of what was written there previously. I've tried wiping it dry, wet, with washing liquid, using various cleaning sprays - nothing seems to remove the shadow.
I wish I knew what the secret is of all the positive reviews in which people wipe it off without staining.2

Anonymous reviewerLess messy than real chalk. Only issue was as this was delivered it had a large label stuck over the packaging so I wasn’t sure how to get it working - pumped the nib a few times and ran water over it and it’s all good. Have used it on a chalkboard without it permanently leaving marks but haven’t tried it on glass yet.4
