Not ideal for LERHOLMENAnonymous reviewerWhile this product is designed to fit a range of tables, I’ve found it to be a poor fit for the LERHOLMEN picnic table. The corners are extremely tight — it takes considerable force to stretch the cover over them, and there’s a real risk of tearing the material in the process. Once fitted, the excess fabric sags between the benches and the tabletop, leading to water pooling after rain. You can’t pull the excess down to the ground to avoid this, as there simply isn’t enough material. We’ve had to manually empty these mini pools after each downpour. The material itself seems robust (after one month of use), but overall this is a disappointing product — especially given IKEA’s usually high standards for thoughtful design and fit. Also, another colour would be nicer to look at in the garden. 2

The cover has straps at the bottom making it simple to fasten secured during these wet and winter months. Much better than what you’ll find at Amazon. 5

Although it’s slightly more expensive than some options it’s actually waterproof with taped seams so worth investing in. I got it for a table and chair set that isn’t ikea and I tuck the bottom of it under the legs of the seats to hold it in place as it is a bit too big. 5
