Good to know
To build your own combination, place several units side by side or a 37 cm deep unit on top of a 47 cm deep unit.
If you want to use the units on their own in the future, make sure to save the plinth for the top unit.

Very spacious and sturdy. Skill issue.Anonymous reviewerThe other reviews made me hesitant, but I decided to give it a go anyway. The panels themselves are heavy and sturdy, and the assembled piece is lovely and spacious.
During assembly, I found out what the other reviewers were talking about: there are several points in assembly where you need to slot nub things into keyhole-shaped slots. If you directly try to fit the pieces together you might struggle, as there are several nubs that should slot in at once, requiring a lot of force and risking damage to the pieces (especially the drawers which are more delicate). However, what I recommend is to go one slot at a time, and slide one of the nubs along each slot a few times to losen them a bit before actually slotting the pieces together. Doing it this way meant I did not need the force of a thousand suns to assemble it, and after discovering this method the rest of the assembly was hastle free.

The guy that built them for us said they were so easy to put together and very good quality. Only one criticism and it’s so minor cannot give low review, missing one drawer knob.

Nice design, poor structurallyAnonymous reviewerThe new concept of key shaped holes with slot and slide lugs into chipboard i.l.o metal screw-in pegs and clamps is terrible. Its unstable and the chipboard crumbles easily if the slot and slide is not 100% correct, leaving gaps everywhere. On the first one that had to be replaced the drawers wouldn't even slide in on their runners it was so wobbly. I have assembled a lot of IKEA furniture over the last 35 years and this is by far the least satisfactory to build. Back to the drawing board methinks. 3 stars because of the excellent IKEA Customer Service response and because it looks nice.

Poor quality designAnonymous reviewerI have experienced many IKEA products years ago and very disappointing to place together this product. It is made mainly of compressed wood fibre and has several slide type fittings on key elements, mainly the real base. These are not fit for purpose and do not allow an easy nor effective fitting. You need a force to slide a heavy component across and this force even with care causes mild crushing of tht component luckily mine I on the none veneer side but still a terrible design. These instruments are still very poor (they were never good) but almost shows contempt by IKEA when for no cost and little thought they could be made so much more practical.
Lovely but faulty Anonymous reviewerI recently bought these drawers and they are lovely looking, solid and the drawers are very deep.
However once we put the top on we had noticed a default, there was like a glue that dried on the front of the unit that had started flaking, taking the colour with it. I tried to get a new part sent out as I’m two hours away but there was no stock, so it means driving 2 hours or having to dismantle the whole thing including the 6 drawers, this is a bit frustrating!
