Misleading sizes! STANDARD KING = DOUBLEAnonymous reviewerI admit this was our mistake but we had an actual KING sized bed before this- not SUPER KING, just KING - so we just assumed the standard king meant a STANDARD KING. No. It's a double - maybe a slightly larger double - and unfortunately we didn't realise until we'd already assembled it, opened the mattress and the topper. I was so gutted because if it was actually a king size bed "super king" as advertised by IKEA and as is sold in literally every other place, I would've had absolutely no complaints. I love how high it is, the mattress fits perfectly with no gaps between, the topper compliments it, other reviews mention squeaking but we haven't experienced any squeaking at all. The drawers are FANTASTIC when installed properly, leaving a good amount of space underneath the bed for cleaning. Absolutely 0 complaints other than the fact that the sizes were misleading. I wish we realised and swapped for a "super" king before we opened it all

Instructions wrongAnonymous reviewerThe 1 star is the instructions are wrong. If you follow them you are four screws sort to put the draw rails in. Then at the end you have four screws over. But these are different to the ones you want.
I knew something could be wrong before i started as every fitting and screws you needed were in seal bags. Accept the two metal joining plates that were just loose in the box but know screws.
Ikea you need to look and this is put together and check the screws you need as its 100% wrong. I did phone Ikea have way though building it to say the screws are missing. Just over a week they turned up.
The bed itself is strong and well made.

Good design, straight-forward assemblyAnonymous reviewerIt requires two people to assemble the bed frame but it is not difficult and when complete it is solid and with the mattress on very much more comfortable than I expected.
The drawers under the bed are very useful as they take all the bedlinen and other household fabrics with ease. My one reservation is that the drawers need the baseboards to be pinned, which is not suggested in the instructions, to ensure the drawers' rigidity.
