Cute psychedelic mushroomAnonymous reviewerFantastic for ambient mood lighting. Pop an RGB KAJPLATS bulb in there (can confirm they fit) and you've got a really affordable smart mood lamp. Better (and brighter) than the VARMBLIXT and for a fraction of the price.
Nice lamp, Low max powerAnonymous reviewerTl;dr get innr mini smart E14 bulb. The lamp looks really nice and I finally have it set up but I came up against two issues. It is short, a normal E14 candle bulb won't fit. It has a low max power of 4.4w. Looking at the stats, IKEA's own E14 smart colour doesn't meet the power requirements. Since I wanted smart colour there are very few options. It took a while to find, but the innr smart E14 mini bulb works really well. On testing max brightness it uses exactly 4.4w on the colours I tested and dimmed at 60% it was closer to 2w

Nice lamp - replacement shade would be goodAnonymous reviewerI've had the lamp for some time now and it is a lovely useful little lamp. Unfortunately I dropped it and the shade broke. It would be a good idea to sell replacement shades as the lamp is still functioning and it seems ashame to throw it away. Would buy the lamp again.

Check the bulbsAnonymous reviewerReally cute lamp but I wanted to use a colour-changing smart bulb, and the one for sale in IKEA (Tradfri, 60mm diameter x 110mm height) is too big for the lamp unfortunately. You can make the diameter work if you take the lamp apart, but the bulb is still too tall for the base of the lamp to screw all the way in, so it won't stand upright. It's fine with the thinner bulb (104mm height) but that's only available in white.

For the price, you can't really complain.Anonymous reviewerVery good value, looks good if you use a low (<180) lumen bulb to add some mood lighting on a table or bookcase/chest of drawers etc. Bought a few of these and they work as expected. One of IKEA's best products in my opinion, but mainly due to the great value/price - if they increase from £8 I would be less enthusiastic.

Fab little lightAnonymous reviewerBought this in a whim - lovely construction and very easy to put together. There is a slot through which the cord will feed and sit flat so the lamp itself sits flat on the countertop so I've had no issues with the lamp wobbling or being imbalanced. The suggested light bulb is excellent and the light given is bright and ambient at the same time, it's a lovely organic shape and small enough to suit most spaces as an additional light source. Excellent especially at this price. I'm about to buy a second!

Favourite warm lamp everAnonymous reviewerThis lamp is so warm and cozy, the size is perfect to fit in smaller areas - but still gives off a large amount of light, I’ve already bought 2! The bulbs that are recommended with this lamp are so perfect, love the warm orange tone and they are very bright.
Cute little lamp Anonymous reviewerI like the design of this lamp - not too big but enough for a small/medium sized room. Lights up brightly once a bulb is inserted (very easy to do). Not given 5* as the material feels and look a little like hard plastic rather than glass.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
