Fiddly!Anonymous reviewerRead the reviews and thought "how hard could it be". It took ~40 minutes to put this together - more than most IKEA products, but overall not too bad. Getting the crossbars to align was the trickiest bit. Good capacity for storing my daughter's (many!) stuffed toys3
Sturdy and beautifulAnonymous reviewerIt looks really nice in my kids room and he is able to bring it out as well if he playing in other rooms. I like that you can see all the toys. One thing that is annoying about the bottom is that it sags down a lot if there is a lot of toys in. Would be nice if the bottom compartment had a harder bottom5
Awful assemblyAnonymous reviewerNot surprised this is a 'last chance' buy. The assembly is awful. We ended up giving it away in the hope someone else csn put it together rather than landfill.1
Much easier to build than they’re sayingAnonymous reviewerI just built this in under 30 minutes, with a puppy and a 5 month old “helping.” It’s not nearly as fiddly as the reviews suggest. There are only 10 parts and 8 screws. It doesn’t snap together like Lego as some Ikea designs do, but it’s no more fiddly than putting runners on drawers.
4* as good price and function. Dropped a star for robustness as netting/nylon is a little bit flimsier than would be ideal4
Looks great but so frustrating to assembleAnonymous reviewerI nearly hurled this across the room multiple times while assembling it. The most FRUSTRATING thing to ever put together. Once up though it does looks great! 3
Listen to the reviews!Anonymous reviewerThis product is fine. Totally fine. It looks alright in my kids’ bedroom and fits lots of toys. I like that you can use the top as a sort of table.
But my god. There is no excuse for this to be so excrutiating to put together. I did it alone which was a mistake but I thought all the other people who went before me were wrong. They were not wrong. It is as frustrating, fiddly and rage-inducing as they all say. I would never want to make it again. So let’s hope it doesn’t break anytime soon.
I’m really not sure the final outcome is worth the pain. Read the reviews of the other colour, and then maybe don’t buy it. Or do if there are two of you and you hate yourselves.3
Bit tricky to put together but looks fantasticAnonymous reviewerGood sturdy bedroom organiser for the bo crew to be housed. B-HQ are now less dusty and have a lovely housing area.
Took a bit of head scratching for construction more than the average Ikea item but we got there in the end. Lovely colour and construction is sturdy.5
It’s okayAnonymous reviewerFor its use for toys good be better if bigger5
Is this a test?Anonymous reviewerHonestly found this frustrating to build. The instructions were not hard to follow but holy moly, this felt like a test of my patience and determination!! It was fiddly to get the cross brackets screwed in and I had one screw that refused to cooperate. I spent way too long building it but it's done and houses all the teddies. I don't think I'll be getting a second...3
Great kitten tower!Anonymous reviewerI bought this tower as a climbing frame for my kitten! She loves being on all levels and jumping in and out of the holes on the sides. It has lived up to an awful lot of jumping, chewing and clawing for a few weeks now and still looks smart. I know that this is not its intended use but you should always look around IKEA with an open mind!5
Holds an impressive amountAnonymous reviewerI was getting sick of toys all over the living room, and the dimensions of this fit into a corner perfectly. Not the best colour with our decor (a neutral or even black would have been better) but it tidies everything away nicely and best of all you can see what's inside so my son can rummage for what he wants without tipping boxes all over the floor.
Assembly was really easy, unless they have updated the instructions based on feedback, I don't see the confusion. It was very clear, all slotted together nicely and held together with 8 screws. I managed it on my own with a toddler running around and a baby on my lap!
Tempted to get a second one for his bedroom because it holds so much stuff, keeps it nicely contained and is easy for children to access.
Only concern is the metal feet on our wooden floor - I can see it being dragged and potentialy scratching it, so I would recommend popping some little felt pads on the bottom if you have hard flooring.5
Double cat bedsAnonymous reviewerFiddly to assemble but both my cats love it4
Hardest thing I’ve ever had to assemble Anonymous reviewerVery frustrating to assemble - it’s fiddly and the instructions aren’t that clear but after finally getting the hang of it I managed to put it together and it’s sturdy and fits lots of toys in which is exactly what we wanted! Worth it in the end but there must be an easier way ! 3
PerfectAnonymous reviewerLittle bit fiddly to put together but is perfect, good size, exactly what you’d expect it to be 5
Perfect cat bed! Anonymous reviewerI got this for a cat tent and am v happy. Would be great if the bottom layer had a compartment for reinforcement, but the cat has been lying on the bars regardless haha, cushion to follow :) 5
Terrible to assemble Anonymous reviewerIt's made and I'm happy with it, but it was a pain to assemble. I was surprised to get 2 packages when I collected it, as I kinda thought it was more a pre-assembled piece (yea, I know it's IKEA, but still 🤷). I didn't read the reviews until I tried to put it up and realised it was more faffy than I would have thought. I bought a Billy bookcase at the same time and ended up building it first as I realised I was going to need some peace and quiet to sort this Tigerfink out!! Maybe an assembly video would be handy so at least people know what they are getting themselves in for! 1
Spacious enough to manage the army of soft toys!Anonymous reviewerI was a little apprehensive of buying this after reading the reviews but thought for £15 it was worth a try. I found it pretty straight forward to put together, I went wrong once (I'd lined the holes up to face outside rather than in, but it was easy enough to rectify by just taking the poles out and repositioning.) Took about 10-15 minutes maybe, and it was well worth it as it fits loads of toys in and makes it really easy for the kids to tidy up themselves!5
Not worth itAnonymous reviewerWas hard to assemble and very fiddly instructions unclear I gave up and threw away 1
Perfect toy storageAnonymous reviewerWas a right faff getting it together and you definitely need two sets of hands but once up it’s sturdy and really handy for stuffing toys in. We’re using it for our dog who chews boxes and baskets and so far she has left it alone but loves stuffing her head in the holes for the toys 4
The best unintentional cat productAnonymous reviewerI wish i could upload pictures to show you how much fun two cats can have playing with each other in this, it has all the makings of something cats would enjoy - mesh, two entries and is polyester so it allows them to slide around. Assembly is like pitching a tent, annoying but you will get there. The cat orientated furniture from IKEA is too expensive for what it is, and cats are fickle which means you end up with a useless item you can’t do much else with. This is a low investment piece that may become their favourite spot to hang out.5
