Room darkening curtains prevent most light from entering and provide privacy both day and night by blocking the view into the room from outside.

Product details

The room darkening fabric lets in a small amount of light and there is no glare on TV/screens. It gives a strong sense of privacy as shapes and light are barely perceived from the outside.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

The heading tape makes it easy for you to create pleats using RIKTIG curtain hooks.

    The curtains are sold in pairs. The sizes stated refer to each single curtain. For the total width, double the width of a single curtain.

    You can use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.

    16 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 145 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

My favourite IKEA curtains for a long time. Anonymous reviewerI wish the other colours were still available. These are the best ikea curtains I've ever bought, I've had them in 3 colours now. Love the fabric texture and pattern, the colours are great and they drape really nicely since they're made of pure cotton. Saw the comment mentioning they wash weirdly - just air dry them and they are totally fine. ALL cotton fabric tend to shrink in the dryer if you're not careful. 5
