A sturdy little chair Anonymous reviewerI'm very pleased with this chair as it is comfortable - with a cushion - and folds flat thereby taking up very little room when stored. The wooden slats are stained a pleasing mid-brown and the black paint on the frame wasn't scuffed or chipped when it arrived - something that concerned me a little as this was delivered, sight unseen. I could only have one chair in the area of the garden where it was to go so being able to buy a single chair of this type was ideal as they often come in pairs. For the price, I think it's excellent value.

Bad batch or just too cheap to make wellAnonymous reviewerBought two, one broke on first use. Took it back for a replacement. Realised when using them the next time that c. 50% of the screws holding the slats were either loose. In most cases the hole was too big for the screw to hold the slats. I spent an hour taking out the loose screws and packing the holes with matchsticks to enable the screws to hold… If this design fault (or production fault?) was resolved it would be 5 stars.

The paint on the slats is more like a stain and I wasn’t crazy about the colour, but it’s easy to unscrew the slats and repaint them.
My only criticism is that they are quite small / narrow.

I would buy more if delivery was free. I could only take 3 chair and I wanted to buy a set with long table and bench but they wanted delivery from 25£, it should be free as everywhere if you send over 100£.
