Piling started within a weekAnonymous reviewerIt's a good strong, thick rug, but it started piling when just a week old. I'm only one person, so it's not much traffic on it, no furniture moved on it, no vacuuming or brushing. It looked great for a few days and now just looks cheap with all the piling. Very disappointed.

it was the size we neededAnonymous reviewerWe needed the largest possible rug to fit an awkward space which needed to be almost square. This was the best we could manage - marginally too long in one direction and not quite as wide as we needed - but this was the best we could find. Would have preferred the much heavier version which we have in the house but the options for that were not so good. It looks attractive enough but we needed to put the thin non slip membrane down on the wood to stop the rug moving. The price was fine and the appearance is OK. Happy enough with it. When you need something of a size which is not available, it is always a little disappointing

What is jute?
Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertiliser, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
