Terrible leg design poor qualityAnonymous reviewerThis was breaking at the legs pretty much instantly, the legs are held up with chipboard which caves in under any pressure. With kids it's impossible to have people just rest feet on it! We've fixed and fixed this over the years as it's the perfect size and can't afford to replace it. It's now held together with blocks of wood on the corners to stop the legs caving in.

It's deceptively simple, yet if offers a combination of features that are not easy to find. First of all, it's very light, so it's easy to move around as needed. It's relatively tall for a footstool, so one can lean on it in a more natural way, without the feeling of sliding down, if you know what I mean. The generously padded cushion is another stand-out feature, it's really comfortably even to sit on. We have one in the hallway, and guests always appreciate it when putting shoes on an off. There is only one minor point of concern, and it's the structural design: the cushion is held in place by the upholstery on the sides, and when leaning on the cushion the cover gets stretched over the very sharp corners of the inner wooden structure. We expect the fabric to tear at some point. That said, we have the extra cover, which actually looks more modern and should help with that in the long run.
