Elegant for a Lager just in case a lady wants a lager.Anonymous reviewerGlad I saw them . They’re useful as sometimes a lady does want a lager and I should have a suitable glass. This is very suitable.5
Lovely beer glassAnonymous reviewerGreat price and perfect for beer or cider5
GlassAnonymous reviewerIt’s ok a bit on the thin side is fragile 3
Makes the beer taste betterAnonymous reviewerGreat looking glasses and even make the beer taste better 5
Great value glassesAnonymous reviewerGreat glasses for the money. Look stylish and have a nice thin rim5
Versatility of useAnonymous reviewerLove this range of glasses, and I ordered a variety of different shapes and sizes online, for home delivery I can barely believe it but, despite packaging not being up to much (each set came in it own box, all placed into a brown outer box with barely any padding…just a bit of brown paper!!), out of a total 48 glasses, there was not one crack or chip. A good illustration of the strength of these glasses They look like a fine crystal and are a perfect gift for my daughter who will soon be moving, with her fiancé, into their first home Although marketed primarily as a beer glass, would also be very suitable for cocktails, soft drinks, etc The price is outstanding and this range offers many styles..something lacking in other ranges Very happy with my choice5
Fine Anonymous reviewerYeah perfectly fine, good size and quality 4

Perfect sizeAnonymous reviewerNice shape and Comfortable to hold. I use for various types of drinks. Holds a good amount of liquid. Very happy with purchase.5
A beautiful sturdy glassAnonymous reviewerThis glass is so strong, but yet light and delicate lovely to handle. I highly recommend this glass.5
Perfect size for Guinness ZeroAnonymous reviewerGuiness Zero (which is very good) comes in 440ml cans. Too big for normal 330ml pilsner glasses and looks half empty in a standard pint mug. These glasses are 448 ml, perfect for a poured Guinness with a classic head just reaching to the top. I'm sure looking good makes it taste better!5
Great glassAnonymous reviewerThis glass is big enough and nice shape.5
Nice beer glassAnonymous reviewerGreat value5

Good glass but so fragileAnonymous reviewerThese are great glasses but I've already broken two while washing them because the glass is so thin.2

Match your wine with the right glass

Did you know that there is a whole science behind why wine glasses look the way they do? Fortunately, you don’t need to dive into the science to match your favourite wine with the right glass. We developed the STORSINT glass series so you have optimal glasses for different wines. But first we needed to thoroughly understand what happens to a wine when it’s poured into a glass with a certain shape – so we took on the help of some experienced sommeliers along the way. Product developer Malin Ljungström shares some facts: “For example, a younger wine should be served in a smaller bowl with a slightly narrower opening. This is so the wine is not affected too much by the oxygen in the air", explains Malin."On the other hand, an older and fuller wine needs a large, round bowl and a relatively wide opening to enhance all the aromas and flavours from the wine being more in contact with oxygen."

How a wine is enjoyed when drinking from a wine glass is also about the balance between the bowl, shaft and foot. “A good wine glass should be nice to hold and beautiful to look at”, says Malin.

New insights about wine

For Malin, the collaboration with the sommeliers meant that some of her conceptions about wine changed. For example, that champagne or other sparkling wine should always be enjoyed from tall flute glasses with plenty of room for the bubbles. “It’s true about younger wines, but we learned that an older champagne is more aromatic, and can therefore be served in a wine glass with a larger bowl to develop its full potential”, says Malin and adds: "In the world of wine, there’s always something to learn."

Designer thoughts

"When I designed STORSINT, I wanted to make glassware that enhances the enjoyment of drinks. I made the stems thin and smooth so that they're comfortable to hold, and the bowl generous so that aromas and and flavours develop in the best way. I was partially inspired by the fantastic glassware at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. With STORSINT, I wanted to create glassware which suits all occasions, which is beautifully designed – and can be used year after year."
