Reviews
Sleek Finish and Clean LinesAnonymous reviewerI love my new set of chest of drawers. Minimal and stylish. The drawer mechanism is the cherry on the cake. I would 100% definitely recommend.
Easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble good solid furniture good price
Beautiful, great quality drawersAnonymous reviewerI was skeptical of buying these drawers after looking at the reviews. But I am in love with them, very easy to build. Very heavy, great quality. All the bits came and instructions were very clear, I ordered them in grey and they are a gorgeous colour. Big deep drawers, can hold a lot. Would recommend to anyone looking for decent drawers!! Beautiful.
Defective Anonymous reviewerSo the measurements we all off. Had to send this back because somethings were to big so they wouldn't slide in place. And other things were small so they didn't fit end to end. And a lot of the whole were very off. Meaning I could even screw things in to place. This is after waiting for them to first send me the missing 36 screw that they forgot to put in the itial package. I am so disappointed. I have bought from here before and never experienced this.
Not good as mama drawersAnonymous reviewerIt’s not deep enough and not good as mama drawers. As clothes Don’t fit enough.
Not as good as MalmAnonymous reviewerWas hoping this would be like the Malm original but the quality is so much worse. It feels cheap, instructions are far more complicated. Will be returning
Good. Not sure why everyone is complainingAnonymous reviewerIf you’re ready to take a little time studying instructions an ikea unit really shouldn’t be any more difficult than it needs to be. Solid when made, roomy drawers, I didn’t suffer any damage in the packages either. The hardest bit was for me to get it in the house on my own. I quite like the new drawer locking system. I would have preferred the strengthening strut across the underside of the drawers like the malm range. Hence 4 stars 🌟
Nice product, but!!Anonymous reviewerBought this chest of drawers for a gentleman I support. It's a nice product when actually put together. The instructions aren't great, there were 2 screws missing, and some of the holes to insert the locking mechanism do not exist. I expect better than this from IKEA, as there products are usually supplied without flaws, and better assembly instructions.
Replacement to malmAnonymous reviewerI had this sent out because of a broken part in my Malm set and I’ve had problems with it from the start for one it’s nowhere as big as the malm set two the new locking system it’s really difficult to get in place three I was missing one part which has just come for me to only just realised there was another part missing which now when I’ve tried to order is out of stock so I’ve been left with drawers I cannot put together for months.
Chest of Drawers Looks GoodAnonymous reviewerThe best thing to say is that they look good now but took two people to put them together and around 3 hours of frustration, hopefully they won’t fall to bits in 3 weeks 🙏
Item goodAnonymous reviewerItem good
Absolutely shockingAnonymous reviewerBought these drawers yesterday and honestly, I wish I hadn’t bothered They arrived with a broken drawer, cracks and scratches all over them. Then, when we actually started putting them together, we discovered that the holes didn’t even line up properly, making the whole assembly process an absolute nightmare. I’ve bought IKEA furniture before, but I have never experienced anything this bad. For a brand like IKEA, I expected far better quality and quality control. These drawers look like they’ve been damaged and poorly manufactured before they’ve even left the factory. What makes it even more frustrating is that I don’t live close to IKEA and don’t have the time to make a special trip back, so now I’m stuck with a product I bought less than 24 hours ago that is already damaged and faulty.
For the money, this is completely unacceptable. I genuinely think these need to be taken off the shelves until the quality issues are sorted. Absolutely appalling. I would not recommend these drawers
PerfectAnonymous reviewerNice and big drawers
What is this?!Anonymous reviewerI've kitted out 4 kids bedrooms with IKEA furniture and never had an issue. Bought two of these draw sets - wanted the Malm but looks like these are the replacement now. The push and lock fittings are a nightmare to line up and push together! Can't comment on the complete unit as I've lost the will to go any further at the moment - out of sheer frustration. The assembly process of all other products has been straightforward, screws and locking nuts. But not for this.
Arrived slightly damagedAnonymous reviewerOverall the drawers are great but I was abit annoyed when they arrive with a couple of small dents on the top unit. It’s nothing too major just slightly annoying.
Manufactured incorrectlyAnonymous reviewerThe look of the drawers are nice but there are manufacturing faults which meant I couldn’t get the top drawers to fit in. IKEA proposed I disassemble it in order to exchange it for a new set, which I’ll then need to rebuild (& based on all the bad reviews it’ll probably be faulty again!). I’d avoid purchasing again.
Not recommended.Anonymous reviewerThis was incredibly hard to build. Some of the parts didn’t match, so it was impossible to build it correctly. I followed the instructions exactly and it did not work. I eventually built it but my own way😅. I’ve built plenty ikea furniture before and nothing has been this difficult before. Not sure why this one is so awkward. Would not recommend!
Arrived damagedAnonymous reviewerArrived with 3 huge scratches in it. Home delivery cost £45 but the assembly service was fantastic. Once built apart from the scratches worth the money but IKEA just doesn't seem to be what it once was
Beautiful item but unfortunately damaged Anonymous reviewerI purchased this item and having opened the package the top of the unit was damaged which is very disappointing. Otherwise lovely product
Nothing like malm.Anonymous reviewerThese are much smaller than malm. Not as good quality. Everyone loved malm for its storage size and quality, I just hope they make a return.
