Arrived slightly damagedAnonymous reviewerOverall the drawers are great but I was abit annoyed when they arrive with a couple of small dents on the top unit. It’s nothing too major just slightly annoying.
Manufactured incorrectlyAnonymous reviewerThe look of the drawers are nice but there are manufacturing faults which meant I couldn’t get the top drawers to fit in. IKEA proposed I disassemble it in order to exchange it for a new set, which I’ll then need to rebuild (& based on all the bad reviews it’ll probably be faulty again!). I’d avoid purchasing again.
Not recommended.Anonymous reviewerThis was incredibly hard to build. Some of the parts didn’t match, so it was impossible to build it correctly. I followed the instructions exactly and it did not work. I eventually built it but my own way😅. I’ve built plenty ikea furniture before and nothing has been this difficult before. Not sure why this one is so awkward. Would not recommend!

Total waste of moneyAnonymous reviewerIf you want peace of mind, then don't buy this. Firsr, the size and quality is poor compared to the previous version. Plus they added an unnecessary safety lock, which is extremely frustrating when opening of the drawers. Rather than improving the quality to make it more sturdy, they added a locking system to frustrate our lives. I am disappointed 😞

Bring back Malm!Anonymous reviewerAll I can say is bring back the Malm range! This set of drawers is flimsy & due to the introduction of the mechanism to stop more than one drawer being opened at a time, the internal dimensions of the drawers are smaller too, as well as the overall size being smaller so you are not getting the same storage as you were before.
The back of this is still using the flimsy panelling that comes folded but the smaller has MDF panels which makes the unit more sturdy but has it's own issues. Also, there is no little dots to dampen the noise when the drawers close - it's all for profit I assume!

I don’t recommend itAnonymous reviewerWhen we brought it home to assemble it we found several damages on the main parts. I tried to contact them, however it was not possible. And they are asking for money for its return!
Finish poor qualityAnonymous reviewerPut these together no problem at all and was impressed with how it is constructed and fitted together, especially the cam mechanisms, however the finish quality is poor on the edges off all the drawers and the Matt paint effect marks very easily
Reasonable qualityAnonymous reviewerI genuinely became ragy half way through building these. The instructions are completely diabolical, the pictures are less than usless, the parts are labled in the instructions but the actul parts arent. the screws ect are mixed into one bag. So its a guessing game with which screw goes with which part. Be prepared to spend the entire day building these. Once up they are slightly smaller than the Malm but just as sturdy. The drawers dont open fully but they are decent once up I can see the advantage for a kids room due to the safety drawers, as my child uses the drawers as a ladder im glad he won't be able to do this any more. On the whole, dont regret buying them,would buy them again but would get someone else to build them. If I had the choice between the Malm ot this Malm would still be my 1st choice.

Took me 2-3 hours to build this, I did not encounter any manufacturing error like others are saying.
It was sturdy and had some weight to it. Also more spacious than we expected.
Overall, it was an easy build. All accesories are complete, locking mechanism work smoothly. Me and my fiance are very happy with this purchase.

Easy to buildAnonymous reviewerI was worried when I was ordering by the other reviews but I had no issues at all. Easy to put together - finish on drawers 100% and self close when opening another drawer is a nice added bonus.

No problems with fixturesAnonymous reviewerI was very hesitant about buying these as I had seen lots of reviews mentioning that the parts didn’t align properly. However, I ordered two sets of these drawers and have had absolutely no issues putting them together or with any other parts.

Manufacturing faultAnonymous reviewerThe drawers have a manufacturing fault where the holes for the top are drilled too far in, if I were able to build it I think it would look lovely, customer service were quick and efficient in trying to replace however I had the same fault with the part and they were super quick with the return
