STORKLINTA chest of drawers has 6 spacious drawers. The design of the integrated handles along the upper edges makes it easy to open the drawers, from various angles and when you have your hands full.
Clean and modern design with horizontal lines makes it easy to place several STORKLINTA chests of drawers side by side for a uniform look.
Use the top for extra storage or as a display surface. Add a glass top to create a more complete look and protect the surface.
If you want to organise inside, you can complement with interior accessories from the SKUBB series.

Better than malmAnonymous reviewerI’ll be the odd one out to say these are better than malm. Bought 3x sets of them after taking a trip to Sheffield and seeing them in store. In store they felt sturdy (although the display ones were a bit chipped). I didn’t let it put me off as someone who has put together several sets of malm and brimnes range over the years the malm especially are prone to the same chips and also the malms supports often snap clean in half.
It’s taken me a little over an hour to put the frame together (5’1 woman) as I was taking my time, with just a standard screwdriver it is honestly much sturdier than the malm range.
Hopefully other 2 sets go as smoothly but we shall see.
So far so good from me. Think a lot of the negative reviews on here are just people jumping on the “we hate change” bandwagon.

Lovely drawersAnonymous reviewerBought these drawers and matching bedside drawers for my daughters bedroom. My 16 year old built them both all on her own. She took her time and followed the instructions images step by step and built them beautifully. They are well made and sturdy. I think they are better and improved quality over the old Malm ones. Locking drawers that only open one at a time is a great safety feature.
Poor replacementAnonymous reviewerAbsolutely disgusted by the quality of these drawers. Malm drawers lasted years and took 15 minutes to build. These drawers are awkward to build and definitely do not compare to malm. For the price its an absolute joke. Would definitely not purchase again.

Delighted with purchaseAnonymous reviewerI purchased 5 different chests of drawers from the Storklinta range recently and I’m so pleased I didn’t take notice of some of the previous reviews. I’m a middle aged lady who is not shy to a bit of DIY and I found the units so easy to put together instructions were very clear, even my non DIY Husband managed to put some together too. Very sturdy well made furniture and would not hesitate to recommend.

Absolute rubbishAnonymous reviewerWanted to buy the Malm but discontinued so got this instead. Not only does it look cheap the quality is rubbish as well. For something thats meant to be sturdier, well disappointed doesn’t cover it. The drawers are shallow and really don’t hold that much. There is also a mechanism that ensures only one drawer is open at a time, I have to say I found it really frustrating and annoying. Why on earth you got rid of the Malm range is beyond me. Will be looking elsewhere in future

I wanted a simple piece of furniture, so did not attempt to fit the pulley attachment to the back of the drawers. I only open one drawer at a time anyway.
From the reviews about the discontinued Malm furniture makes me think that this would have been more suitable for my requirements.

It splinters very easily & is almost impossible to turn over to attach the top.
I have built lots of Ikea furniture & it usually goes together well & is very sturdy.
Even though I had built this item I still returned it, Ikea tried to give me a credit for the full amount but I stood my ground & received a full refund.

But I guess thats the point make smaller now have to spend more to replace all draws.

Why discontinue a product like the Malm chest that was in my opinion a far better product!
New drawers Anonymous reviewerAs someone who does Flatpack Assembly for a living I will be sad to see the end of the malm drawers, however after building 3 sets of these I am confident these will be a hit. Am glad they have done away with the little strips between the drawers like the malm had, seen these snapped on multiple occasions. Easy to assemble just take your time!
It's ok, but a cost reduced productAnonymous reviewerBought this 6 drawer unit as I really needed storage. The build was easy, apart from when assembling the drawers. I broke a few of the circular rings which are used to tension up the joints between the drawer back and sides. They are made of (my guesses) resin moulded plastic (like some parts in scale model aircraft kits) or 3D printed. Disappointed to see this, as I would have expected the usual cast metal parts. Probably cost reduction but not in a good way! I'll need to obtain replacement parts from IKEA. Unlike some other reviewers, it doesn't feel wobbly (and I've still to make the anti-tip fixings to the wall). Should last for a few years, good enough for me for the price.
DO NOT BUYAnonymous reviewerI'm so missed all of my clothing on the ground in my room I sat with this Chester draw for over 48 hrs and its literally falling apart. Thing is I've been putting up my ikea stuff for years the quality of the items have gotten so poor 😢
disappointedAnonymous reviewerI bought the Malm version of these around a year ago and loved the quality, found out they had discontinued and moved to storklinta but thought they would be just as good, so bought them!
Sadly the quality doesnt seem there anymore, and while building most of the holes were out of placed or hardly finished so we had to improvise and make new holes or make other holes bigger, once built theyre wobbly, dont feel sturdy at all, though seem to be okay for now, though is smaller then the older counterpart, wouldn't buy again personally.
