STORKLINTA chest of drawers has 6 spacious drawers. The design of the integrated handles along the upper edges makes it easy to open the drawers, from various angles and when you have your hands full.
Clean and modern design with horizontal lines makes it easy to place several STORKLINTA chests of drawers side by side for a uniform look.
Use the top for extra storage or as a display surface. Add a glass top to create a more complete look and protect the surface.

Absolute rubbishAnonymous reviewerWanted to buy the Malm but discontinued so got this instead. Not only does it look cheap the quality is rubbish as well. For something thats meant to be sturdier, well disappointed doesn’t cover it. The drawers are shallow and really don’t hold that much. There is also a mechanism that ensures only one drawer is open at a time, I have to say I found it really frustrating and annoying. Why on earth you got rid of the Malm range is beyond me. Will be looking elsewhere in future

I wanted a simple piece of furniture, so did not attempt to fit the pulley attachment to the back of the drawers. I only open one drawer at a time anyway.
From the reviews about the discontinued Malm furniture makes me think that this would have been more suitable for my requirements.

It splinters very easily & is almost impossible to turn over to attach the top.
I have built lots of Ikea furniture & it usually goes together well & is very sturdy.
Even though I had built this item I still returned it, Ikea tried to give me a credit for the full amount but I stood my ground & received a full refund.

But I guess thats the point make smaller now have to spend more to replace all draws.

New drawers Anonymous reviewerAs someone who does Flatpack Assembly for a living I will be sad to see the end of the malm drawers, however after building 3 sets of these I am confident these will be a hit. Am glad they have done away with the little strips between the drawers like the malm had, seen these snapped on multiple occasions. Easy to assemble just take your time!
It's ok, but a cost reduced productAnonymous reviewerBought this 6 drawer unit as I really needed storage. The build was easy, apart from when assembling the drawers. I broke a few of the circular rings which are used to tension up the joints between the drawer back and sides. They are made of (my guesses) resin moulded plastic (like some parts in scale model aircraft kits) or 3D printed. Disappointed to see this, as I would have expected the usual cast metal parts. Probably cost reduction but not in a good way! I'll need to obtain replacement parts from IKEA. Unlike some other reviewers, it doesn't feel wobbly (and I've still to make the anti-tip fixings to the wall). Should last for a few years, good enough for me for the price.
DO NOT BUYAnonymous reviewerI'm so missed all of my clothing on the ground in my room I sat with this Chester draw for over 48 hrs and its literally falling apart. Thing is I've been putting up my ikea stuff for years the quality of the items have gotten so poor 😢
disappointedAnonymous reviewerI bought the Malm version of these around a year ago and loved the quality, found out they had discontinued and moved to storklinta but thought they would be just as good, so bought them!
Sadly the quality doesnt seem there anymore, and while building most of the holes were out of placed or hardly finished so we had to improvise and make new holes or make other holes bigger, once built theyre wobbly, dont feel sturdy at all, though seem to be okay for now, though is smaller then the older counterpart, wouldn't buy again personally.

Cheaply madeAnonymous reviewerI opted for these drawers in the grey to match my sons room. They look OK but the finish is not so good. Made them up easy enough on carpet and the top is scratched also some of the inner drawers at the top are cheap looking. I'm going to put a clear mat on the top as anything that would be on top would scratch the grey Easy.

Not good quality and had defects Anonymous reviewerHi, this is not a good replacement for the malm, it is poor quality and mine came with two defect parts which mean two drawers are incomplete. Not the ikea standard we expect. I wish I had read reviews before buying.
The new MalmAnonymous reviewerThe build quality of these are so much better than the Malm! Honestly…much better and easier to assemble in my honest opinion. As someone in a previous review said, gone are the tiny nails to tack the flimsy back on, instead you have a thicker board which stabilises the drawers better.

Not a good finishAnonymous reviewerMight just be mine but I had a couple of issues:
1. As the top drawers are smaller, the one on the left, does not have the stopper to keep it from falling.
2. Also, you cannot really set up very well this due to space between the small drawers and the next one.
3. The bar that supports the two small drawers, does not allow the first big drawer to enter when is all set up. Does not fit. I ended needing to remove two of the screws to put it side ways so the drawer can enter.
4. The small two drawers they do not seem to fit well within the rails to move them as they look disleveled and close outaide of the frame instead of aligned within it.
5. I know is cheap but just taking out of the box already got chipped.
6. The screws they provide are some ok, some get the star for the screwdriver overused if you use a cheap electrical screwdriver. It makes it impissible to remove them.
Malm sets of drawers are better quality in comparison. Not really happy with it but cannot change it.
