Genuinely excellentAnonymous reviewerI’ve had this sofa for three months now and genuinely adore it. First, I just had a major spill on it (eek!) and the fabric was thick enough that it didn’t leak through to the seat cushions underneath. It was easy to unzip the cover, throw it in the washing machine and get the stain out. Absolutely amazing and a must for any sofa. Second, we’ve had plenty of guests sleep on this sofa as well, all of them loved it. When you remove the back cushions it’s essentially a single bed. Three, on a daily basis, this sofa is comfortable and has just the right depth. I’d say the sofa provides medium support. Having tried those Swyft and Next sofas, it’s way more comfortable. It also looks beautiful and is built really really well. Finally, we have a flat in London with very narrow halls and because this arrives flat packed, it was so easy to get it in. IKEA, I would love it if you could create this sofa in more colours and also sell covers for it in additional colours!
Looks good and comfy sofaAnonymous reviewerVery nice and comfy. Very deep seating and the seating pads are very solid with very good support. Each of the pads is even healthier than a single foam mattress from Ikea so you can feel how good the quality is. Nice cushions can't complain.
You may think why an IKEA sofa costs so much but you can't find similar design for this price with similar quality. The exposed frame is made of solid wood but anything on the inside of the are plywood but that's how you manage to get such a good and aesthetic sofa with this price.
Not 5-star simply because the screw of one of the four legs is faulty and was a nightmare to install. Reported this to customer service and very helpful to get a damage refund.
Comfort and qualityAnonymous reviewerPurchased this sofa which is incredible, with deep seats, sits low and very comfortable. It’s spacious and could easily fit 4 people. The fabric is not very soft but feels like good quality, not as white as it appears in photos. Assembly was not too challenging and took 2 people approx 20 mins. It arrived in 3 boxes, two sides with heavy pillows and 1 solid wood base spring frame, with minimal plastic wrapping. The boxes fit easily through our narrow hall and doorway with limited space, other full framed sofas would not fit. Tried other expensive modular sofa brands before this that did not meet expectations.
The best IKEA sofa everAnonymous reviewerThis is not the typical Ikea product, it's in a different league, a piece of quality design furniture that will last you a lifetime. Sturdy structure, simple assembly, high quality wood, neatly finished. The corner joints are a neat visual detail. The seat depth is very generous, even for tall people. Backrest and armrest cushions have good polyester filling, but perhaps duck feather would have been more in keeping with this piece's ambitions. The cover is understated in colour, and pleasant to the touch, without being indulgent. The seat cushions are high quality, made of latex, so they are quite heavy, supportive and comfortable, they are never going to be out of shape. More importantly, they provide mattress-grade support, so this becomes a generous and very comfortable single bed for guests, who are going to feel like at home. All in all this is a superior product, and I would like to see more in the same series (a matching armchair for example, or different covers).
