Traditional metal bedsteadAnonymous reviewerThe Stjärnö has the appearance of a traditional iron bedstead, with a wooden slatted base. I bought the king size version. It was reasonably easy to assemble (I managed to do it alone). The IKEA person at the store had made one himself just days before and gave me a couple of useful tips: leave plenty of screw sticking out before slotting on the base structure. My guests who slept on it reported that it was very comfortable. I would say it is a very good value bed, which looks good and does what a bed is supposed to do.

I love my bedAnonymous reviewerI’ve had the bed assembled since new years. Instructions said it required 2 to put up but I had to do it on my own. After using YouTube video, I was able to do it solo.
The bed doesn’t squeak or wobble, feels sturdy, which can be the opposite for metal framed beds. I am pleased with it and the space it allows for under it.

loudest bed EVERAnonymous reviewerI got this bed 4 months ago and it was perfect for about two weeks then it started creaking and squeaking very loudly and even when I tighten the bolts it still is very loud which makes sleeping very difficult. I even bought rubber washers to help the squeaking and nothing has fixed it!! I do love the aesthetics of it but very disappointing about the noise as I’m a light sleeper and find sleeping next to impossible on this bed and i’m not a heavy person!
