Great once builtAnonymous reviewerBought this for my kitchen island in my new house put together was fine until it came to the seat which would not click in place and kept popping out. I had put it in the hall to take it back and then decided to jump on it and try and get the seat to click in which it eventually did and has stayed in place however had it not stayed in place I would’ve taken it back but I think it’s a bit extreme having to get up on top of a stool and jump up and down on it to get the thing to click in.3

For a start I’m usually pretty handy at building flat pack items but I found the instructions for this a bit confusing with a few of the parts being very similar so had to work it out by trial and error, maybe little stickers on the parts would help.5

Good design and comfortable Anonymous reviewerThe stig stool looks smart and simple, ideal for my kitchen. It was not too tricky to put together - a bit more complicated than some, but you have to read the instructions first and follow them page by page. There are 3 bars that look pretty similar, so you have to look for the dots on the bar (referred to in the instructions) to make sure you have the right one. Talking of getting the right one, in my experience the 63cm height one is for kitchen breakfast bars and the 74cm one is for bars in a pub / bar, where the counters are higher than in a kitchen. 5
