Everything about this product is great although it was quite a challenge to order it in the UK and have it installed in France (happy to chat to IKEA about making this a better experience) However minor the under sink bin is, it lets the kitchen down by its sheer impracticality. I’d still buy the whole kitchen, it’s lovely, but forget the bin and buy a stand alone one. I’ll be doing this on the next trip and putting the original in it🙂5

Taking off the old doors and transfering the hinges to the new doors and drawer fronts was simple and clicking them back onto the units took only minutes. Once i had made a few slight adjustments to align the doors I stood back and smiled at the finished result. A whole new looking kitchen at a fraction of the price. i have used Ikea kitchens in all my homes ovethe past 20 years and have never been disappointed. The internal fittings like pull out wire drawers go back deeper than in other units so i am able to store more items in each units and the versatility it offers means i can store larger items and smaller items with no loss of space. All together i find my Ikea kitchen very satisfying to look at, excellent use of space and easy on the pocket.5

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are.
