I was looking for a lamp to put in the enclosed porchway to give a soft light in the evenings when anyone was out to light their way back in through the front door, and save having on the harsher hall light on. This does the job perfectly, was ready to use as came with the bulb, and for the quality of the lamp I thought the price was very reasonable.
