We have many removable covers to choose from, so you can always find one that you like for your new sofa or when you want to update the one you have at home with a new cover.
You sit in comfort with a slight, pleasant resilience thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Clean with a duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
To be washed separately.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

We love Soderhamn!!Anonymous reviewerWe bought our soderhamn sofa a few months ago and we are so so happy with it! We’d already decided it was the one we wanted and were lucky enough to find it in the re-shop section of our local Ikea. WE LOVE IT! So comfy, deep enough to easily be used as a day bed for napping, we’ve even squeezed the two of us on to sleep overnight when we had a guest come to visit who used our bed.

We have cats who have unfortunately roughed up the covers on ours a bit but I am happy in the knowledge I can simply buy replacement covers if necessary!

Excellent modular sofaAnonymous reviewerI purchased this sofa because I wanted something that could easily be brought into my flat, looked stylish, had a chaise section and was comfortable. I got everything I wanted and it's just perfect! I made it easier by booking a Taskrabbit to assemble and put on the covers. All I had to do was iron them beforehand.
The sofa in charcoal is ideal because I always worry about my makeup transferring onto a lighter fabric. It's cosy, comfortable and when a friend came to stay she slept on it with no hassle. In the evening, having the chaise section makes watching TV or working on my laptop a dream and means I don't need to bother with a footstool.
Well done IKEA, great design, practical solution for those who need modular options that are great value.
Covers are a nightmare!Anonymous reviewerThe main construction of the sofa is great. It seems fairly comfortable so far. My main criticism is the seat covers! They are an absolute nightmare to put on. The same applies to the cushions. I've worked with a furniture upholsterer in the past and she never made covers this tight! Apart from that everything is fine.

I was expecting the fabric to be softer however the colour matches exactly as showed on the website.
It’s hugeee as well and I know have space for a big family.
