This wardrobe takes up little space, but is big enough for all those endless style changes – from baby years to teens. It also has hooks where your child can reach and hang their clothes on their own.

Product details

This wardrobe gives you plenty of storage on a small floor space.

Perfect where space is limited since the frame is narrow.

Your child can use this wardrobe for many years since it has an interior which you can move as your child grows.

The doors have soft-closing hinges which make them close softly and quietly – even after a heated argument.

Stands steady also on uneven floors since adjustable feet are included.

So that both you and your child avoid sharp edges, all corners of SMÅSTAD doors are softly rounded.

The frame is easy to install by just clicking it together, no tools are needed.

The smart design of the runners makes the drawer slightly retract when released – to save space.

With hooks on the clothes rail, the chances are really good that clothes, backpacks and accessories will find their way back into the wardrobe rather than ending up on the floor.

You can organise the inside with interiors from the HJÄLPA series – and for the exterior there are smart solutions in the LÄTTHET series.

Decent small wardrobe Anonymous reviewerThis little wardrobe is just what we needed for some extra storage in a small bedroom. The drawers are nice and deep (2 kids bedding in one!) we didn’t need much wardrobe space but found it a decent size for 2 boys. The fitting was a bit of a challenge, even with Ikea flat pack experience. We had to contact the help desk in the end who were very helpful. Tips - do not put the door bracket in the top hole. Go down one. The bottom drawer is fitted differently to the other 2. The drawer front needs to be fitted lower or it won’t fit in. This is important to know. The instructions could be clearer! It is a little wobbly but you are given wall brackets to secure it. Overall we’re very happy with it(now it’s made), and we would recommend it. 3

not sure what the bad reviews are forAnonymous reviewerthis is absolutely perfect for our 5 year old and 18month old to share. Fits both of their dresses perfectly and they both have 1 large and 1 small drawer each. Assembly was easy and even easier when you follow a youtube video for help (we didnt for this wardrobe the instructions were enough but we did for a bed we bought) not sure what the negative reviews are for and I'm so glad I didnt listen to them (was in between seeing the low star reviews)5

NO INSTRUCTIONS Anonymous reviewerThe wardrobe looked lovely on the website but when it came it was not packed in one box but in individual sections and I had to order the spare bits separately which took two weeks to arrive and there were no instructions. My Son did put it together with some guidance from the photo on the website it was a challenge. I've bought things from Ikea before and never had a problem and after this I'm not sure I will buy anything again.2
Not easy to assembly Anonymous reviewerThe wardrobe looks nice, however to mount it was terrible, the manual don't say the right number of place to fix the drawers, and I get Almost 4cm of door outside the wardrobe frame, don't trust in the manual! Material really cheaper, it totally wobbly. Thinking twice if I buy another time in Ikea.1

I have loved drawer and everything from IKEA but this time we are disappointed as assembly is hard and it moves which is very risky, we had to place something on the bottom to make it steady. I bought it for my baby girl nursery but the result made me wanna cry as it looks so cheap and nasty. Specially I am disappointed with all those 4 drawers. I wish I didn’t chose this one.1

Beautiful and practicalAnonymous reviewerI bought this in white/grey together with a 6 drawer-book case Smastad and they look beautiful together. The drawers are great size to store different bits and bobs. Assembly was easy - just make sure the bottom drawers are fitted further down than the rest. Shame the clip ons were not available however I still manage to open/shut the drawers without them. Very happy with them, would definetely recommend!5
