Faulty wardrobesAnonymous reviewerFollowed the instructions to a T done all of the drawers got to the top to put the doors on and did not align found the customer service for help told me that I built it wrong and there’s nothing wrong with the wardrobes. Tell Me to move it down to the next hole but the brackets wouldn’t fit and started to bend. I had to dissemble the wardrobes and send it back as a no one helped and the customer service was appalling.

The instructions cover everything except runner placement for this specific combination of drawers.
Runners are placed as follows: 2nd row from the bottom, 13th row from the bottom, 19th row from the bottom. The shelf pins are on the 23rd row from the bottom. Make sure the runners are facing the right way!
I attached the HJÄLPA hinges on the doors and then screwed them to the frame. Make sure there are no gaps between the brackets and the door/frame.
Level the wardrobe with the LÄTTHET feet first, use a spirit level [TRIXIG]. Levelling the wardrobe resolves slanted misalignment and improves stability. Then, use the IKEA HJÄLPA hinges, they are adjustable on all axes. [look at instructions]
My floor is very wobbly and yet I have two level wardrobes with perfect clearances. You can do it too! Don’t panic, have a think and you’ll find a solution. Even I didn’t install the runners first try.
Problem after problem Anonymous reviewerSame as everyone saying the doors are too big, we watched a you tube video and the guy had the drawer runner right at the bottom of the frame, we tried this and the drawer was jamming, wasn’t going in… I wonder if you got ikea out to build it would they be able to do it?? I wonder, prob build it with the doors overhanging at the top… you use the same frame for many things…. Utter crap

Good wardrobeAnonymous reviewerGlad I ignored the negative reviews. This is a good wardrobe. As others have noted, the bottom draw has to be assembled differently to the others, which the instructions make clear. If this is done, it all fits together nicely. Not the most solid feeling, but can't complain at all for the price. We went for two big draws, two small draws and the doors.
Great wardrobeAnonymous reviewerBrought two of these to go side by side. Was a little put off by other reviews but glad I ignored them. As others have said start by building main outer frame. The backing panel slides in. Then start with bottom draw paying attention to imstructions, the front fascia is almost in line with bottom of outer frame. Then fit other draws and then door will fit perfect. The bottom and two high draws use different front mounts but is shown in instructions. A little wobbly but once items in its solid and can should be screws to wall for the complete solid wardrobe. Ignore the negative reviews. Allow 1-2hours to assemble. 2nd one took 45minute

The overall quality of this unit is beyond just poor. Some of the screw holes crumble on assembly. The folding out back board is impossible to fit and get into the cabinet grooves. Once assembled, the unit doesn’t align at all, so there are gaps and adjustments necessary to get it to function with the shelving and drawers, otherwise, they just fall down or unable to open. Avoid at all costs!

Very AngryAnonymous reviewerYour instruction on this wardrobe is not clear at all. No single instruction on how to fix the drawers. Every attempt has failed. The doors at the top is not closing. If i guess the biggest drawer and fix it correctly then the 2 smaller ones won't fit it. Just confusing and irritating
Good qualifyAnonymous reviewerIn order to align the doors, what the instructions don’t tell you is that on the lowest draw (the deeper one), there are two strips on the bottom, you need to put the base layer on the highest strip.
Good quality but could be betterAnonymous reviewerI was impressed with the quality of the wardrobe which didn't feel cheap. I opted for having 3 drawers and 2 doors but, because this is a modular item, all the instructions were in the separate packages which meant that some guesswork was needed to work out where the hinges and drawer runners needed to be placed. I found it easier to fit these parts before assembling the main body of the wardrobe. The only really viable way of fitting the back is to slide it in from one of the ends. but the slots machined into the carcass were way too tight to do this and I had to widen the slots slightly. I liked that the drawers went together without the need to use screws but placing the runners was far from clear. All in all, it took me around 4 hours to put it all together, a time that could have been reduced with better instructions. I count myself as a seasoned furniture assembler having bought many flat-pack items in the past from IKEA and others. Why limit this to just 999 characters?
Do not buy this product! Anonymous reviewerPlease listen to all the negative reviews. The doors don’t align if you build it according to the instructions, and even if you don’t listen and try to rectify it, they still don’t align. There is a flaw somewhere in the product design. We’ve built several IKEA flat packs over the years and never had a problem, we are also very experienced with DIY so it’s a design fault.
assembled in two hours!Anonymous reviewerThe wardrobe is well made with easy to follow instruction. organised into smaller parts that you combine together to get the finished results. very few screws needed and it just slotted together easily. first purchase from Ikea and we are very happy.
Hinges don't match!Anonymous reviewerIt's a beautiful wardrobe just a shame the hinges aren't compatible! The picture is very deceiving... my hinges are flush against the top of the wardrobe, my dad and I have spent the last 6hours trying to line them up correctly and they've already damaged the top of the wardrobe!
I can either...
1. Have the tops of the hinges get stuck and continue to damage the top of the wardrobe, but I can open the drawer underneath;
2. Have no handles for the drawer underneath but can open the wardrobe;
3. Have handles and the door gets stuck on the handle on the drawer making at hard for my child to open/close!
This is the second one I've had and both exactly the same, the measurements are correct, I've checked multiple times!
Easy to assemble wardrobe with so much storage spaceAnonymous reviewerThe previous reviews meant I almost disregarded this wardrobe but it is perfect for our small space and it holds so much stuff for how compact it is. Me (at 37 weeks pregnant) and my husband built this during our toddlers nap time, it took us two hours to assemble it all and was relatively straight forward. The most important thing to note is the bottom drawer is built differently to the two above it.
I do agree with another reviewer that there is a lot of packaging though and annoyingly the Kubb organisers do not fit in the two shallow drawers.
Poorly designed Anonymous reviewerWhere to start...
The 2 side panels almost seem like there wider in the middle, there's nothing pulling it so the backboard keeps popping out and the draws keep popping out. Useless! It needs something to pull it in, to make it more secure in the middle. The Doors also seem to big for the wardrobe and over hang either the top or the bottom so you can't open the drawer.
We got this because it looked good in the shop. No idea how the display models are built, as I have tried over and over again and can't not get it right. Very poor instructions and very poor design.
Terrible instructions Anonymous reviewerInstructions not clear at all, if you do one step incorrectly you don't realise until the very end and then have to undo everything and redo it. Took a long time to figure which step we did wrong and had to rebuild all over again.
