The LED candles have a cosy and flickering glow that’s reminiscent of a real candle flame – without sooty wicks and dripping candle wax.
A safe alternative for homes with children or pets since LED candles can be used as decorative lighting anywhere without the risk of fire.
They create just as warm and inviting an atmosphere in homes as in cafés and restaurants.
The LED pillar candle illuminates for approximately 140 hours, which corresponds to 21-23 days with the 6-hour timer and 43-46 days with the 3-hour timer.
The LED candles have a diameter that fits perfectly in our candle holders and lanterns.
You activate the built-in timer with a button on the underside of the candle. The LED candle then turns on at the same time every day and automatically turns off after 3 or 6 hours respectively.
Easy to place anywhere as it is battery operated and does not need to be connected to the mains supply.
The LED light source consumes up to 85% less energy and lasts 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable battery 2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V. 2 pieces required.

Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.
The timer switches the light off automatically after 3 or 6 hours (the choice is yours), and switches it back on again at the same time the next day.
The LED light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 10 years if the lamp is on for 6 hours per day.

Function solution
The SMÅLOM series has different-sized LED pillar candles that you can even use in protected spaces semi-outdoors, as well as a set of 2 LED taper candles. All are battery-operated and have a cosy flickering glow just like a real flame. The built-in timer automatically turns the candle on and off. The taper candles illuminate for a total of approx. 130 hours and the pillar candles for a total of approx. 140 hours. Great to mix to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home, even in bookcases and windows.
