It is extremely comfortable, with a separate padded cushion / seat, which means that I can sit and work on it for hours. The arm rests are at just the right height and wide and big enough to support my arms, which means enhanced comfort. The inside of the chair (the space between the two sides) is roomy and capacious, which is lovely. Being able to swivel around is helpful, as I can easily access things from my table or bed. The wheels mean that moving the chair around is easy, which helps a lot. Assembly was very easy, so I am extremely pleased with the product. I can now work in comfort at home. Thank you, IKEA, for this lovely product.

Swivel wheel post hole broke... after ten years, and no way of fixing Anonymous reviewerI bought my SKRUVSTA swivel chair in May 2014, so perhaps after a good 10 years of use I shouldn't really complain. However, there is a clear design flaw in as much as the holes that take the posts of the swivel wheels are made of a weak plastic or other composite material. Essentially one of these has cracked and does not retain the wheel which continually falls out. One could remove all the wheels but then one would be sitting around 8 cm closer to the floor! More annoyingly there appears to be no replacement part. Seems a waste to buy another chair just for the sake of such a small issue, but that may be the only option should I not fine a DIY fix !!
