Swivel wheel post hole broke... after ten years, and no way of fixing Anonymous reviewerI bought my SKRUVSTA swivel chair in May 2014, so perhaps after a good 10 years of use I shouldn't really complain. However, there is a clear design flaw in as much as the holes that take the posts of the swivel wheels are made of a weak plastic or other composite material. Essentially one of these has cracked and does not retain the wheel which continually falls out. One could remove all the wheels but then one would be sitting around 8 cm closer to the floor! More annoyingly there appears to be no replacement part. Seems a waste to buy another chair just for the sake of such a small issue, but that may be the only option should I not fine a DIY fix !!

THIS CHAIR CANNOT STOP BREAKINGAnonymous reviewerI have bought this chair and it can't stop breaking I have bought 3 of these and when I sit on this it instantly breaks because you cant rest your back on it, this is like a school science chair where you cant rest your back horrible quality it kept peeling off for nothing and I keep buying it because I thought I was stupid until again it broke until I bought a different chair it has not broken since this is not a great chair you cannot rest your back without the chair breaking.

Not DurableAnonymous reviewerThe chair is not durable compared to other models of chair bought earlier and at the same time. The polystrene foam base of the chair cracked. I repaired it by putting a plant pot saucer at the bottom of the polystrene foam base. Hopefully it can extend the life of the chair for a while.
stylish & comfortable but fell to bitsAnonymous reviewerThe first chair I bought was such a hit that bought 2 more for teens.
These chairs are great at first but didn't survive the year. The chair is made of styrofoam which is fine except that it sits on a small wooden square which attaches to the leg. Eventually the leg just pushes through the styrofoam and the chair is beyond repair.
Also the fake leather gets grubby and worn , does not clean up well.
A real shame as this is a great design, let down by poor engineering

Hmmm.Anonymous reviewerSome of the seams on my chair are puckered - not smooth as in the photos or video, the cushion looks like a slab of melted Mozzarella with lumps and bumps on the seams, the colour of the chair is a sort of yellowy white, again unlike the pure white shown in the picture and video. Disappointed actually.
