Excellent as a shoe cabinetAnonymous reviewerI'm using this as a shoe cabinet, having found it difficult to find a regular shoe cabinet to fit my large (UK size 12) trainers. This cabinet was easy to put together, feels very sturdy and looks great, especially for the price.
While it does not appear to be possible to purchase extra shelves, I found that two VARIERA Shelf inserts (32x28x16) fit well across a shelf to make better use of the space. In my case, this allowed for at least 2 extra pairs of shoes to be stored.

Hinges impossible to fit neatlyAnonymous reviewerBought two of these as attractive storage space in my home office and honestly I’ve put together many many bits of Ikea furniture over the years . Look good, quality good but it’s impossible to attach the hinges and doors without making a total hash of them. The doors are too heavy so that even with two people trying to hang them their weight pulls them out of line and you end up stripping out the holes in the side panels. The whole hinge attachment system needs a rethink. Disappointing as the dodgy door hangings spoil the whole effect.

Great sturdy cupboard Anonymous reviewerBought 2 for spare bedroom storage, very easy to build, doors were a bit of a struggle, but eventually managed. The only thing I don't like is the shelf supports, they are a pain to get out? You need to be able to easily adjust the shelves! Other than that they look great and hold so much stuff, the room looks tidy again at last! Delivery price should be cheaper though.
Good quality and easy to assemble Anonymous reviewerI have now bought x3 of this cuboard. Simple and elegant. One placed at top of stairs and two downstairs. The only improvement i would suggest is soft closing fittings. Tends to slam shut, despite the small plastic door stop provided.

Love it … butAnonymous reviewerThis is a lovely looking piece of furniture and does exactly what it says on the tin. It easy to put together …. until you get to the door hinges. This is the only reason it’s not got 5 stars. The screws appear to be too big for the hinge hole they sit in or the hole in the door isn’t big enough. I really struggle to get the hinges secure enough to use and had to leave them untightened for fear of burring the cross head on the screw. That said they are secure and do line up pretty well but IKEA - you definitely could do better with this.
