Give your plants a boost with fertiliser every month. If you notice that the plant has gone dormant - let it be until next season.

IKEA provides all potted plants with nutrient-rich soil, repotting is not needed until 1 year after purchase.

Remove dust every now and then to allow the plant to get as much light as possible.

Sansevieria trifasciata 'Sheri' and 'Gold Flame'Anonymous reviewerGreat compact Sansevieria ' trifasciata. The rosette had 3 offsets. The only negative side is that this is a compact variety, so it doesn't really need the larger size pot (21cm) and the high price tag, unless you arent planning to ever repot it. That said, all Sansevierias sold in IKEA in the UK in general needs to be repoted, due to unsuitable (long term) substrate. I also got a 'Gold Flame' variety a couple of weeks ago, which had a 2 rosettes with one small offset. Overall, if I see a variety that I don't own, I'll definitely get it in the future. The compact trifasciata varieties don't need to be in 21cm pots, more like 15-17cm, with a lower price tag (around £15). 4
