Soft, light and warm.Anonymous reviewerI now have a collection of these blankets, which I love as they come in the perfect size to be easily tucked away (I roll them up in a pile!), are light, yet warm and breathable, and have a soft touch on the skin, which makes for a pleasant, cosy, TV/reading/tea companion when you are relaxing after a long day. I use them throughout the year: in wintertime, you might want to double up without the weight, bulkiness (and hitchiness) of a heavy woollen blanket, and in summertime, one is perfect for keeping you cool, even on the warmest days. Being synthetic, they can be washed in a normal everyday mixed laundry and will dry in no time. I wash them once a week, and they remain soft and lush to the touch. The only thing people should be aware of is that they might come with a dusty smell from being stored in IKEA warehouses, as they are breathable and can collect a lot of dust if left unwashed for a long time. One or two initial laundry washes will solve the problem before use.

Intended for loungeAnonymous reviewerEnded up on bed. It's lovely and soft, non shedding and says washable. I haven't needed to wash it yet. The colour is exactly the same as the picture. We have a King size bed and the throw goes across the bed and a little over the side but not down to the width of the duvet. I didn't think it would work on the bed but it does. It hasn't fallen off, it's a great price and I would definitely recommend one.
