It's not a 'positive closure and bounces off unless I sit something in top of the lid. I recall there were some accessories beside these boxes in IKEA, perhaps to strengthen the closure but in my opinion, I shouldn't have needed to purchase these on top of the box which already cost £8! I will probably buy boxes like these from somewhere else in future (because of the lid, which hasn't been an issue with boxes purchased elsewhere)3
