I wasn’t very hopeful when I purchased this tap with it being plastic and the fittings some big nut , buts it’s solid , no issues..

Works well but poor instructionsAnonymous reviewerThe tap is plastic not metal, but looks and works fine. However at first glance it cannot be installed on a sink with a through-hole. The lower retaining ring and seal can’t be taken off over the flexi pipes as the connectors are too wide.
The instructions fail to mention that YOU CAN UNSCREW the flexi pipes by twisting the pipes by hand. You must take off at least one pipe to remove the retaining ring, and then fit into a basin. The pipe then reconnects deep in the body of the tap, so you can’t mechanically tighten them up but hand-tight seems like enough.
