Good to know

Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Reviews

Modern eleganceAnonymous reviewerI'm delighted with the Rudsta glass-door cabinet, it was exactly what I was after and didn't disappoint.5
Inside gets dusty due to gaps around doorsAnonymous reviewerThe gaps around the doors are wide enough for dust to get in. This defeats the purpose of putting things in a cabinet, as I am having to dust the inside regularly. Very disappointing as it looks really good.1
Perfect for my Lego CollectionAnonymous reviewerSo good I went back and bought a second unit (which I now have to fill with more Lego).5
Amazing to display my collectionAnonymous reviewerGot this to display my ww2 collection and with the black it helps. Doors very easy. Would suggest a lock built in. 4
Nice modern pieceAnonymous reviewerI really like this although there was no hole you put the 2nd door on... so I only have one door on. I don't have a local Ikea to go into. It would have been given 5 stars if all the parts were of use. Looks nice with the glass and glass shelves. Modern and good for the price Just be prepared to go through the parts to ensure they match4
I love my new cabinet Anonymous reviewerI put together the cabinet myself in about 45 minutes. It was very easy to assemble on my own. The instructions were very clear. I love my stylish cabinet, it looks so more expensive than the price I paid. I would recommend this cabinet to everyone!!5
Excellent Anonymous reviewerJust what I wanted at a price I could accept 5
Beautiful display cabinetAnonymous reviewerReally hard to assemble, instructions were not clear enough. Had to take apart and start again, but once assembled I love it4
I still can’t get theAnonymous reviewerI still can’t get the top to fit over the front of the cabinet so it sits flat5
Display CabinetAnonymous reviewerBought this for my collection of Emma bridgewater pottery. Looks great5
Easy to build and looks great for purposeAnonymous reviewerTook about an hour to build. I only used one glass shelf bit that would have added about 2 minutes to time building. Its sturdy and easy to move. Instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Hole to run lighting cable through could be a fraction larger would be my only minor issue All in a great display option for my collection sits with another Rudsta and 10 Detolf cabinets5
A great display caseAnonymous reviewerLove the Rudsta cabinet, easy to assemble. Suits my needs for a display cabinet perfectly.5
Ideal for displayAnonymous reviewerI got this to display Lego sets and it's great for that. To help highlight lighting kits I've used black electrical tape to seal some of the seams but that's an aesthetic consideration. Assembly was easy, easier than some of the sets displayed. The metal frame makes it easy to mount lights, mirrors, and storage for things like brick separators. If I had room I'd get a second one.5

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
