Best of all, the power switch is on the head of the lamp, easy to reach and so much more convenient and comfortable to use than all of the lamps with the switch on a cord on the floor. Bit wobblyAnonymous reviewerAngled head adjusts fine. Location of on/off switch is awkward, I usually switch it on and off at the wall socket. It's a bit wobbly on carpeted floors; wouldn't recommend if you have boisterous pets or small children. It does have a heavy basement, so would be difficult but not impossible to pull over.
However, it's a good overall reading light.

Purchased with the suggested bulb which I am finding just a bit too bright.
As the lamp unit is on/ off only the dimmable bulb is no advantage to me.
Anyway it is a very smart lamp unit.
