However, most sofa arms are not perfectly flat and this coupled with the slippery surface of the Rodeby limit its uses. It would be improved by having a surface that grips better.3

Arm rest trayAnonymous reviewerNot too sure about this item , ok if the arms on your chair are squared off at the ends. But if not it doesnt stay secure. Length a little long. Didn't feel secure to place a hot mug of tea without holding on to it.
But that have been me not wanting to stain the carpet if it fell over.3

These trays are like slatted pieces of wood that bend and can be placed on the armrests of the KIVIK sofa. I use two of them there. One of them is on the KIVIK footstool and one is on my OSKARSHAMN footstool. This allows us to keep drinks from spilling on the furniture and creating stains. Because there are slatted, spills will leak through these trays - but small drips aren't a worry. They do keep the drinks level and stable when on the armrests of the sofa and footstools. A quick wipe with a towel keeps them clean. Good price and ready to use with no assembly.5
