Turns Yellow Anonymous reviewerI dropped a couple of spots of just water on the rug and it's immediately made the fabric turn a yellow colour and has stained the rug. Water should not stain cotton this way. I can see the previous reviewer had tried to clean a stain and it also turned yellow. This wasn't a stain it was literally a few drops of water from a glass and I now had yellow spots all over the rug. Clearly something wrong with the rug that Ikea need to fix

Be careful!Anonymous reviewerThis rug is really good value for money. Really big, natural materials. I love it. Except I’ve tried to clean up a mark with water and washing up liquid and it’s turned a small mark in to a large yellow stain. I’ve tried carpet cleaner, stain got bigger. I’ve even bought a Vax spot cleaner and just used water and the yellow mark just keeps getting bigger. It’s like when you add water it reacts to something in the rug. The description says you can use mild detergent and you cannot get much more mild than washing up liquid! The rug is absolutely lovely but you cannot clean it with anything.
