Extremely disappointedAnonymous reviewerI purchased two Ranarp lamps - a table lamp and the floor standing lamp. The table lamp went together without incident. The floor lamp was a different story. I’m not new to Ikea products and followed the instructions fully. The thread on the upright poles was poor to say the least. The bottom section which screws into the base was ridiculous (and trying to screw that last part in with the weight of the rest of the lamp on top of it made it almost impossible.) Despite my best efforts I could not attach the last part because the thread was so badly made - the result meant that I couldn’t attach the top to the base. I’ve ended up with a lamp that I can’t use. I’m furious and extremely disappointed.

We've been desperate to get our hands on one for some time but it was out of stock online and in stores (when stores were open). Luckily, we saw it come back in stock and rushed to buy it. It really is so elegant and practical. We also bought the dimmable light bulb from IKEA, which works well with the lamp. Love the rope as well and the fact you can rotate the lamp on two axes.
