Good qualityAnonymous reviewerLooks good when put up, happy.
Good and sturdy brackets but a nightmare to hangAnonymous reviewerI have tried to use the same method of how they “hang”. On the wall with the actual shelf to prevent the shell from tipping forwards but no luck yet. If there is someone out there that managed it then please tell IKEA.
Nice look but inconvenient Anonymous reviewerI bought them to go with the 20cm shelves but the brackets size would interfere with the books or you would lose space for a book because the brackets are quite large. I also prefer to fix the screws directly instead of judging the length of the first screws.
Tricky to install and no screws included, but good once doneAnonymous reviewerI have to agree with the other reviewers that this is quite tricky to assemble, since positioning the screw for the slot is not trivial (step 5 in the instructions is quite vague! even knowing where the screw will end up sitting in the slot is not obvious). It would have been nice if the instructions included a template and/or suggested measurements for the screw positions. Also this somewhat surprisingly doesn't include any screws. I understand it not having any wall screws since that will vary, but I expected screws for attaching to the shelf, which I had to guess a good size for (I went with 5mm diameter / 25mm length for the bulbous screws and 3.5mm diameter / 40mm length for the flat screws, which seemed to work).
Once fitted it looks nice, discrete, and does a good job of supporting the shelf.
Excellent product Anonymous reviewerExcellent product. Fairly easy to put up. Looks very nice and modern.
perfectAnonymous reviewerthese brackets were bought to support my wall unit, and they do that!
SMART NEAT STYLJSHAnonymous reviewerEasy to fit and look good, would have expected screw caps or instead no screw hole, bought my own screw caps and now ok
Does not attach securely to hollow wallsAnonymous reviewerAs others have mentioned, these brackets do not affix securely to the wall. I suspect that this issue may be lessened if mounting directly to studs/brick/other solid material, but otherwise it's a very poor mounting system
Well made, strong, very good way of fixingAnonymous reviewerPerfect shelf bracket, great value, looks good, delivered professionally, on time.
Would definitely buy again
BrilliantAnonymous reviewerBought these with the matching shelf. Brilliant colour and goes well in our room. Good instructions. No screws came with it though!
This bracket complements the Ikea shelvingAnonymous reviewerI had a professional builder put up my shelves. I live in Thamesmead where the walls are not strong enough to take shelving (to the weight that my Ikea shelfs were). The builder had to buy extra long nails so they reached the breeze block. How you fit the bracket looks a bit complicated for me. By using screws other than those supplied he had to reduce the head so that it slotted into the bracket. The shelves and the brackets look very smart and not cheap looking at all. I think the edge of the shelf having a groove cut into it helps the overall effect.
Easy to find not so easy to fit, quality are good thoughAnonymous reviewerI have 3 of these that I am trying to use but I have to say this is the first thing I've bought over 30 years of shopping at ikea that I find scary and not the easiest. I've always done my own furniture building even the 2 double pax wardrobes I did mostly on my own but for some reason I can't get my head around these! Maybe it's my age 🤔
I enjoy shopping at ikea and have past it down to my children and there friends.
Bracket Anonymous reviewerPerfect bracket to go with the shelf
Nice quality but so tricky to put upAnonymous reviewerMy dad tried and then gave up as they're very fiddly. Ended up not using them which is a shame as they look lovely
Good solid bracketsAnonymous reviewerThe brackets are good and solid.
They were installed on a false wall with good-quality plasterboard screws. Try Spit TF27 kit from Screwfix.
Ikea could have maybe included some 4mm x 25 screws to screw the shelve to the bracket.
Great Brackets 👍 Anonymous reviewerVery well made & sturdy. Would 100% recommend 👌
Perfect Shelf BracketAnonymous reviewerExcellent product and good fixing bracket. One hidden and one visible. Teamed it up with light grey shelf and looks very smart.
AwfulAnonymous reviewerThe system to slide the shelf onto the brackets and the brackets onto the wall is diabolically bad. It doesn’t help that the shelf comes with no markings or holes.
I might as well have just bought a plank of wood.
Great but installation can be frustraiting.Anonymous reviewerGreat design and build quallity but since the package doesnt include the screws i would expect the screw sizes to be in the instructions. Ive figured out that the screw sizes that worked for me were 4mmx40mm and 4.5mmx25mm, but wouldve prefered that info to be in the instructions or even the product page to save time.
Steer Clear …Anonymous reviewerOh my goodness. Im pretty good at DIY, but what a mess I made of my walls attempting to mount these. You practically need a physics degree to work out the measurements and the instructions are awful. I understand why ikea don’t specify which screws to use, but a paper template to assist with alignment would make such a difference. It’s impossible to measure the frame screw sizes. I got a joiner in and he even struggled with them. 😢 I’ve now booked Ikea Task Rabbit to have someone come out to assemble 8 shelves for me. I’m praying ikea send someone who knows what they are doing and who may have prior knowledge of mounting these brackets. Unless you are proficient with a laser light or thee best joiner, steer clear.

Material
What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
