The RÅDMANSÖ series is inspired by mid-century design with sleek lines, great functionality and a warm walnut tone. This wardrobe has space for both hanging and folded clothes – and a smart sliding door too.

Product details

RÅDMANSÖ wardrobe has a wood expression with a warm walnut tone that creates a beautiful frame to store and organise your items.

The sense of quality is enhanced by careful details like the knobs with a brass look and the black metal legs that provide a slightly elevated and airy appearance.

The interior of the drawers and the back panel have a deep-blue colour that adds an extra dimension to the design.

The combination of open and closed storage adds character and allows you to choose what to display and what to hide, making it easier to keep your home organised.

Comes with 4 drawers, 1 clothes rack, 1 shelf and 1 practical sliding door that saves floor space since it doesn't take up any space when opened. Perfect for a small bedroom or a narrow hallway.

Cable management makes it easy to place a speaker on the shelf or to add lighting on the inside without cords that clutter.

Beautiful but extremely flimsyAnonymous reviewerThis is a really stunning and affordable wardrobe but unfortunately incredibly flimsy. I’ve assembled/have loads of IKEA furniture and normally it’s great but this has been a headache. I was super careful during assembly, making sure every piece was only ever placed on blankets to avoid scratches. Despite this, one of the pieces directly at the front was very noticeably chipped. The new “foil paper” used instead of actual veneer is very delicate. A few months in, I carefully moved the wardrobe a couple metres to the right. This very minor shift has caused the entire wardrobe frame to change shape/tilt such that the door no longer fits square and I can’t open all the drawers. I love the design and I’m used to IKEA furniture but this was unfortunately a big disappointment.2

Not great quality - veneer scratches very easily. Anonymous reviewerI love how this looks but it’s pretty poor quality. The support beams across the back broke as they were fixed into place and the veneer is so thin and delicate it already has scratches in it revealing the pale fibreboard underneath from just two weeks of normal use. Very disappointing. I’ve had to colour them in with a dark touch up pen. I’m considering using a varnish to try and protect it a bit more. Easy enough to build. Took me a couple of hours on my own to assemble. 2

The legs bend when trying to move it, and they're a bit delicate, so I reckon they will break easily if I try and move it again. And I've already chipped a bit of the wood by knocking it slightly, so I think it's a bit of a delicate thing. But for the price, you can't argue with the low quality. Absolutely excellent all round.4

"When designing the RÅDMANSÖ series, I was inspired by furniture pieces from the 1950s with dark-wood expressions and metal. I love that it allows for both hiding and displaying items – and the blue colour on certain details creates a nice contrast to the other materials. The design of the legs and the adjustable brass feet add a light and sleek look. It’s warm and functional pieces of furniture that go well in both modern and traditional environments – or a mix of both."
