Good to know

This plant is sensitive to dry surroundings. This may be the cause if the leaves start to fall off.

Give your plants a boost with fertiliser every month. If you notice that the plant has gone dormant - let it be until next season.

IKEA provides all potted plants with nutrient-rich soil, repotting is not needed until 1 year after purchase.

Remove dust every now and then to allow the plant to get as much light as possible.

Reviews

Plant came with bugs unfortunately Anonymous reviewerBought 3 plants at IKEA, and this one was unfortunately infested with something. So we had to buy some spray for 6,99 to kill these things off. Definitely a good looker though, never seen one before in my life, so I'm very curious how it will develop. I only found out the name of this plant when IKEA sent me an email asking to give a review of this plant 😄😄😄4
Beautiful plantsAnonymous reviewerOriginal of plant would help 5
Polyscias Anonymous reviewerExcellent, one of the best plant i've bought for my living room. It requires little attention from me and it grows very well compare to the other plants i've bought.5
One unhappy plant Anonymous reviewerUsually don’t have any issues with the house plants from Ikea, however, this one was very disappointing, it’s doesn’t last, the leaves all fall off and the roots just start rotting. Care instructions have been followed to make sure it got the best chance it could but once it starts dropping leaves, there is no saving it. Would ask for a refund or a replacement but Ikea really needs to make sure there is a way to give you the money back or replace the plant. If issues are always arising then surely something isn't right? 1
Lovely but didn't lastAnonymous reviewerWas a beautiful plant all through summer but this winter despite very little water it's dropped all it's leaves and got mushy. 4

Polyscias fabian potted plantsAnonymous reviewerWhat a bargain price for this amazing house, so easy to care full, really great addition to any home.5
Terrible conditionAnonymous reviewerI had bought this plant and cared for it according to guidelines that came with the plant. However, the leaves kept dropping off at a rapid rate. On closer inspection after 2 weeks of purchasing the plant, I noticed that 2 of the plant stems were rotten to the core close to the base and were becoming mushy. I contacted customer services but I was unable to receive a refund due to the non-refund policy on live plants. My other live plants were healthy, just not this one. Please check all stems on this otherwise lovely house plant before purchasing. Make sure they are not black and rotten.1
