Fine but not for everyone Anonymous reviewerI wanted a chair to use for bedtime stories, that I could get a gentle rocking motion to maximise the calming feeling. This chair is wide enough to cuddle in with my 5 year old (with a little overlap!), which is good. The problem I have is that I'm 5ft 3, so I can't make it rock properly I assume because my feet barely touch the ground, which is not what I wanted from a rocking chair. My mum is about 5ft 7 and it's fine for her, so I've kept the chair based on that, it's just a static chair for me. Maybe I should have been able to work it out from the measurements, but this chair is very stiff and heavy for me. Some rocking chairs can work for multiple heights, and this one isn't it.3
