After I read the manual I was able to use those pieces of wood and upholstery to create a chair.
When I sit on the chair I’m able to remove the weight from my feet, which is nice.
It’s also useful as a target to throw clothes at. Many hoodies, shirts have successfully landed upon it and not fallen off.
