Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This fabric's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. A fabric that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.

Versatility & Comfort POÄNG Armchair CushionAnonymous reviewerThese IKEA POÄNG Armchair Cushions are really well thought out. It gives the ability to interchange colours instead of changing an entire Armchair. The cusions are comfortable and easy to keep clean. Good range of colours to go with the IKEA POÄNG Armchair and Footstool/rest. They just brighton up a room. The colour is as displayed and they are made of a high standard, great design and versatile.
I would love to see maybe some patterns but I am very happy with the Skiftebo Yellow and will be adding to the colours without the need to purchase more Armchairs. Well thought out IKEA!

I Have To ShareAnonymous reviewerI have this cushion as part of my rocking Poang. I love this chair but one of my cats loves this chair more. I hardly have the chance to sit it. Our rocking poang is well loved.
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI ordered the Hillared cushion. The cover is neither padded or lined while the foam insert has a fabric lining with padding attached on the seat and back side. The fabric used on the foam lining is too stiff and baggy which results in creases that protrude against what should be the smooth profile of the face fabric. This spoils the look of the cushions. I've had to remove the foam inserts and reverse their linings on the seat and back and then reinsert back into the covers. This means that the padding which was previously on the inside of the lining slip is now on the outside and since this is smoother than the lining fabric it has reduced the crumples on the face fabric but it is still not perfect. I completely removed the lining on the head section and reinserted just the foam. Although adjusting the foam linings has improved the overall look it's still not brilliant and I'm not impressed that I've had to go to all this faff. Ikea really need to improve the cushion construction.

Definitely grey not beige Anonymous reviewerGunnared light beige cushions are lovely and padded and seem excellent quality but they are a speckled grey, the wrapping even has a blob showing the colour they’re supposed to be and it’s nowhere near the same! Not sure whether to return as they’re certainly comfy but I would never have ordered light grey.
