Great choice Anonymous reviewerMy daughter absolutely loves this desk and it is very sturdy.5
Love this deskAnonymous reviewerVery comfortable desk and easy to assemble. Very sturdy and my little boy age 8 loves to work at it. Also a good desk for adults and a laptop. Can you please do this in a pink colour as my younger daughter wants it too but she is adamant it can't be blue!! Thanks!5
Where are these designs for adults?Anonymous reviewerSaw this in store and absolutely loved it. Why isn't there more like these fun designs for adults? The kids furniture section has some of the most fun designs, we have some shelves in our house (we don't have kids) and my husband would kill to have this as his work desk but it's too small! IKEA kids are so lucky. lol.5
Great quality, inexpensive, smart looking children's deskAnonymous reviewerI was looking for a desk for my 5 year old that would last him at least a few years and I think this is the one. I reckon he'll need a new one when he starts secondary school. I love the look of it, the fact that you can raise it up as the child grows. It was easy to assemble on my own (38 F). It is heavier than expected but it was a good surprise. It's great quality for the price. Some reviews say they wish there was a lip on the edge of the desk so pens etc don't roll off but now I've seen my son use it, I think it would get in the way when he is writing, and be uncomfortable if his arms are leaning on it. He has a pen pot which does the trick. I do wish there was less of a gap at the back where you can tilt the table top but I just put a rectangular piece of rubber (non slip) matting there which I cut to size.
Overall a great quality, inexpensive, smart looking kids desk.5
Tilt deskAnonymous reviewerAmazing quality. Couldn’t be more pleased with it. IKEA items are now really good , gone are the days of 40 years ago when the quality wasn’t as good as it now.
Well done IKEA, keep up the good work.😊😊5
Good Anonymous reviewerI bought this study table for my daughter and it's worth it. 5
Kids love itAnonymous reviewerBought to occupy a 2 and 4 year old, and they absolutely love it. Easy enough to assemble, though they're too young to make use of the tilt function themselves (it can have quite the "thunk", you just have to push it up from undernearth and knock the two supports in place).
They've got it on the middle height option currently, at full height it's big enough for an adult. I'm a 6'4 man and I think it was slightly higher than my normal desk at max height. I put my normal computer chair at the desk for them to draw on, again at the medium height, and they have no issues, though the 2 year old does tend to fully stretch over the desk, that may well be preference.
it's light enough for me to move easily, has a good amount of space on it (they've both been sat in the same chair drawing together a few times).
No issues with the gap at the back, it is quite a big one but I see it more as the point marking between "work area" and "storage area".
(Ikea need to allow paragraphs in reviews)5
It should be better :-(Anonymous reviewerDespite looking good, it’s not that functional and unnecessarily heavy.
There is a huge pointless gap between the main tilting table and the back section, which means all objects will simple fall through it, why is that way??? Also what’s the point of tilting the surface, if there are no edges to hold objects like pens and pencils???
Very disappointing really as those things are quite obvious. Will try to return it.2
