The sturdy solid wooden frame is both stained and lacquered for durability and to allow the natural wooden texture to shine through.

The grains of the wood are visible and create a warm and natural expression.

The comfy upholstered seat makes the chair perfect for long dinners and game nights with the family.

This chair cover is made of a cotton and linen fabric with a smooth surface and a natural look in a neutral colour.

The chair cover is easy to keep clean as it is removable and can be machine washed.

Reviews

Smart simple chairs Anonymous reviewerPlain, would go with most rooms. Chose the paler colour to match a table. Easy to assemble even for my non-DIY OH! Quick and professional exchange of one chair which was missing pilot holes4
Broken in a few monthsAnonymous reviewerNice appearance but both seats were broken in 6 months. Trying to fix it now 3
Think twiceAnonymous reviewerHasty buy? These chairs are cheap and cheerful but not realistically usable on a daily basis. They are rather flimsy and the back does need struts rather than be open? Not suitable for children or anyone under 5’ tall? Lesson learned and have put supports across the backs to make them useful spare chairs3
PinntorpAnonymous reviewerTable and chairs well made I just glued as I put together for peace of mind , but very comfortable chairs and sturdy table .5
Quality Chair at reasonable price Anonymous reviewerEnjoying the new chairs which are comfortable. Well crafted although a little extra back support would be nicer.4
Great little chairAnonymous reviewerSimple, cheap, solid, and stylish. Very happy with our chairs.5

Designer thoughts

Designer thoughts

When designing PINNTORP series, I looked to Swedish 19th century furniture tradition, a time when resources were scarce and clever use of materials was needed. For the chair, I tested different angles of the backrest for optimal comfort. I was going to add spindles but found that the chair was just as comfy without. Smart use of materials created a distinct look and the series’ red and wood tones also pay tribute to this period – ready to spread warmth and beauty in your home.
