I bought it to put in my home office, it's great!
Works well with Smart plugAnonymous reviewerAdds some nice character to the room, and even better, remembers its last on state after being powered on and off via a smart plug. This means if you set it to a colour mode like red, blue, or yellow, or the colour cycle mode via the button, it will return to this when power is disconnected and reconnected. This is brilliant. I am using a Hue Smart Plug.
It was a bit of a pain to setup as you have to twist harder than you think, leaving concern of it breaking, to remove the manual and power supply. However I suppose this reduces price as it takes less shipping volume. So you win some you lose some.

Colour changing lampAnonymous reviewerAbsolutely love this lamp! It is such a soothing light to have in a kids room. The colours change from one to another. As soon as I got it home my dad wanted one too. When you first buy it you unscrew the bottom of the lamp to find the plug is stored inside. I’ve got mine in my craft room. Highly recommend.

What is ABS plastic?
